Went in to see a Grand Highlander here yesterday and had a great experience at the dealership.
The only reason for that was Jordy from sales. He was super kind and straightforward.. he let us know the current availability issues with the highlanders and what we’re looking at in terms of availability.
I told him that I’m gonna walk over to the Lexus dealership to see what they have. He actually informed me about the model that would suit my family and mentioned that it would be a good choice. He then literally walked us over till the Lexus front door. Just speaks to the quality of the person.
I called him again this morning mentioning that I might be back on Thursday after my appointment with Lexus to talk over a few details and maybe get. Test drive.
He informed me that he wasn’t available at the time I could make it but did not ask me to come on a different day. Instead, he said he’ll make arrangements with a colleague to take care of things when I arrive.
I know the general idea is that sales personnel have to be nice to sell.. but I think this was more than that and I appreciate it.
I believe people like Jordy help customers make better decisions and/or also maybe in favour of Toyota based on the customer service provided.
